In most cases, the email template we have already provides
the necessary bits and can be used directly for the various
event entry fields:

 * name of the event:
 * type of event:
 * focus on Python:
 * approximate number of attendees:
 * location (incl. country):
 * dates/times/recurrence (incl. time zone):
 * URL: <a href="http://url/">name of the event</a>

PS: Please don't add more than just the URL to the description, since
the calendars are intended to only reference events and not be used as
additional advertisement area.

I think you'd need to talk to our postmasters. We only
asked for an alias going from events at python.org to the
python-events mailing list.
