Hi Marc-Andre,
Thank you for your comments and recommendations.
To comply with PSF requirements, we have taken the decision to rename our
event to “PyDay Togo” as you suggested. This event is a local gathering
where we will share learnings and feedback from PyCon Africa 2024, while
launching our local community of Python Togo developers (PyDevs Togo).
We do not plan to officially use the Python logo for this event, as we are
not making an official extension of PyCon, but a return to the event in our
country. As such, we will make sure that the communication respects the PSF
policy on the use of the logo.
We have already begun to prepare communications for the event with the new
name and will continue to do so.
We thank you once again for your support and do not hesitate to let us know
if we need any further information on this subject.
Yours sincerely
