[Python-ideas] Policy for altering sys.path

Hi,
for this case, the sys.path modification was solved like this:
-sys.path = glob.glob(os.path.join(WHEEL_DIR, "*.whl")) + sys.path
+sys.path[:] = glob.glob(os.path.join(WHEEL_DIR, "*.whl")) + sys.path
