Based upon the error log, this is definitely the source of (or at least 
one of the sources of) my problems.
Where is the "openldap2" referred to above.

Apropos of the above I note that web2lapp/cnf.py has the following line
from web2ldapcnf import ldap_def

I have no such definition in webldapcnf. Do I need to add one and, if 
so, what is the appropriate ref:
openldap2, deref, etc.
