LDAP bind results failing

Micheal, my apologies, I wasn't paying attention to the reply behaviour
etc I intended it to be on list!
That has cracked it, thanks muchly! This Python + LDAP stuff is really
quite a powerful tool, and it makes me look good into the bargain ;-)
