Extending Python: exception handling

 I would like to know how YOU are using
exception handling OTHER than for error management.

Reason: there is no such thing as an invalid python program.
Therefore, python cannot be extended, not even by Guido :-)

[this post is valid python -- it throws a SyntaxError, which is
well defined behaviour]
