Mostly, but not only.  One of the sites I listed earlier
does not demand advertising -- their main business
is professionally building/hosting/managing sites, and
they must count on their generosity and the resulting
goodwill/word-of-mouth about their good services
bringing them extra business in a very competitive
field.
