Are postings to comp.lang.python.announce mirrored here?

Hi All,

 1. For some reason I'd convinced myself that posts
    to comp.lang.python.announce were automatically
    copied here; not true?

 2. Is it considered bad form to cross-post new S/W
    announcements to both lists? Or is that the Right
    Thing to do?
