The problem I had with this was that you had code like
typedef struct _frame PyFrameObject;
... stuff ...
typedef struct _frame {
... stuff ...
} PyFrameObject;
which egcs didn't like; I changed it to
typedef struct _frame PyFrameObject;
... stuff ...
struct _frame {
... stuff ...
};
and everything went smoothly.
