can't link with python libs

I have installed python 1.5.2 on Redhat 5.2 Linux, both the python and
python-dev RPMs. The problem is I am writting a C 'main' funtion to
invoke python but cannot link the program because I have no libModules,
libPython, etc. Is there another package I need to install or what...?
