Python and sending emails with it

In Python, try 'smtplib' module.  I think it goes something like
    e = smtplib.SMTP('')
    e.sendmail('tekhir', 'supervisor', "...")
Or, if you use Linux machine (like me), pipe the message to 
    mail -s "subject" supervisor
