Problem with JPython and jre jdk1.1.8

Hi,

As an oldtime ABC-Python fan I like the development of JPython.
At work we use Java!


I'm trying JPython11beta3 with jdk1.1.8 on Windows NT and Windows 95.
On NT I get jre.exe:
	Instruction at 0x1001053a referenced memory at "0x0...0"
	The memory could not be "read".
On Windows 95
	JRE caused an invalid page fault
	in module JAVAI.DLL at 0157:1001053a
etc., while I'm executing

jpython button.py or jpython converter.py
(applet demos from www.python.org)

With linux RedHat 6.0, jdk1.1.7b the same programs simply do
nothing at all.

What is wrong?
