I recall reading on the uClinux mailing list that a company had been
working on a bytecode interpreter for Python.  No URL or anything, but if
want to dig through the archives, you could find the email address.

There's also Deeply Embeeded Python, which has already been skimmed down
quite a bit, but perhaps too much for the Pilot. <shrug>
