Python binary for win 3.1 with threads, where?

Hello,

Is there a python for windows 3.1 that already has
threads turned on?  I've been unsuccessful in cross building
(NT to w 3.1) to enable threads.

Alternatively, is there a non-blocking keyboard reader for
w 3.1.  I've given up on kbhit at this point.
