How to catch the "redraw/repaint" event in Tkinter?

Hi,

I need to intercept the "redraw/repaint" in Tkinter, so that the
drawing objects on the canvas are also resized in case the canvas is
resized.

I looked around, but could not find anything on this. 

Please advise.
