Dear Colleagues,
I have a query whose answer I'd be most grateful to revieve. I have
obtained Python 1.5.2 for Linux, and am using tbe Redhat 6.1 version. The
code is placed in a directory /root/python1.5.2 The problem I face is that
Linux refuses to acknowledge the presence of the "configure" file, on
typing "./configure". It replies "No such file, directory........"
Please note that I have done all the necessary tasks such as chmod 7777
configure, etc... I also tried typing the execution path
/root/python1.5.2/ ./configure, but get NO results !.
Is there something I should do in correcting the paths ?... I have changed
the code thrice, and yet get the same results.
Thanks for your time, and I look forward to recieving a reply in the near
future.
Regards
Ravi Venkatesan
