Well, well, well. I'm taking a heavy lesson on newgroup discussions. :-)
I was talking about whether a PEP is needed for adding the bitwise module
into current standard Python. We also talked about removing bitwise
operators from P3K.
Tim said that a PEP is definitely needed for taking the old symbols out.
In another paragraph Tim also asked why would people prefer using bitwise
module to infix operators, and I replied with several reasons.
I can understand why people read this as a call to remove these operators
even before P3K [1]. I've got to be more careful next time.
