PyOpenGL and Nvidia GL?

Unfortunately with the recent demise of 3dfx you may have little option.
I don't know of any other manufacturer who has a decent open source
OpenGL driver.  Can you think of one?  I sure would like to know because
my Voodoo 3000 is looking older and less supported by the day.
