Q: Python & Windows Enhanced Meta File (EMF)

Is there a way to create Windows Enhanced Meta Files from Python?

Or any other vector graphics format that can be imported in
Powerpoint?

Right now I am using Reportlab to create PDF files, and Photoshop
to convert these PDF files to GIF files. This is not only a time
consuming process, but of course the images consume a lot more
disk space. Being able to use Python to create vector graphics
for direct import into Powerpoint would be a big improvement.
