Python CVS archive: inconsistent tag names

Is this a known issue? On the python cvs archive
(:pserver:pythoncvs at cvs.python.org:/projects/cvsroot), tags "r152" and
"release152" are both used. The source tree seems to use "r152", while the
documentation tree uses "release152". This makes it difficult to check out
the 1.5.2 release with sticky tags and get all the files. Is this a mistake
or by design?
