Desperate: Linux Sound Module

Timothy Butler had a Python module for the OSS Linux sound driver at
http://net.indra.com/~tim/ossmodule/ .  I don't know if it's still
maintained; perhaps you could take over maintaining it.

It also looks like /F has an experimental release of something called
the PythonWare Sound Toolkit, at
http://www.pythonware.com/products/pst/index.htm .  I'm sure hacking
assistance would be appreciated.
