Need Preprocessor Module!

I admit M4 is powerfull tool but its syntax, grammar is nothing like the ones
we are familiar with.

If possible, I would like to complete my work with Python only.

I have started to write one but found it's not so easy task as I once
expected.

If you know any preprocessing module written in Python,
please reply to this article.
