Hi all,

When installing pythonwin (from win32all-125) I first saw this
message about 3 times. But pythonwin did install and I can start it.

It seems I can't do anything like using running makepy &c.
This is what happens:

PythonWin 1.5.2 (#0, Apr 13 1999, 10:51:12) [MSC 32 bit
 (Intel)] on win32 Copyright 1991-1995 Stichting Mathematisch
Centrum, Amsterdam Portions Copyright 1994-1999 Mark Hammond

>>> import pythoncom
Traceback (innermost last):
  File "<interactive input>", line 1, in ?
ImportError: DLL load failed: Een apparaat dat op het systeem is
aangesloten, werkt niet.
>>>

Since Dutch is your 2nd language (as in another thread), you all
understand that the DLL does not load because "a device connected to
the system, does not work". In the configuration screen everything
seems fine.

Any ideas?

I'm running Win95 osr 2 on a pentium with 32 mb. Does pythonwin have
any configuration requirements?
I used all the default installation options.
Python and Idle/Tkinter work fine.

TIA,

Patrick Vrijlandt
