Error in inserting blob into ORACLE using ODBC.Windows

It worked! So it was a configuration problem.  I fetched a newer ODBC
driver from Oracle web site and got both the python and ADO code to work,
BLOB in and BLOB out.  The newer driver has a "Enable LOBs" checkbox in the
ODBC Manager driver configuration window, which was probably the key to the
solution.  There's also a "Force Retrieval of Long Columns" checkbox in the
"WorkAround Options" , which i don't know what kind of work around it is
for.
