oh absolutely!

and your advice is immediately acknowledged and heeded.  i'm not even very
certain that i even know what OO really is!  so yeah, much learning must be
accomplished before i can speak of any of this in any kind of credible
manner!

yes, it was my assumption that C++ was the OO god but it does not surprise
me at all that i am way off on it :)  but for the c++ book at least, it does
not assume any kind of knowledge of any abstract concepts and it starts from
the foundation of absolute ignorance.

i'd have it no other way!
