2qyThe changelog for DCOracle mentions Oracle 8 specifically in several
2qyplaces, therefore I would assume they have support for it.

2qyIt supports Python 1.4 or higher, and Oracle 7.3 and higher.

Beware using DCOracle with Oracle 8i features like CLOBS and LOBs
- this does not work with the current version of DCOracle.
