medusa python and CGI

Hi All,
I am using using the web server medusa and python to write some CGI.
But, if there are 10.000 requests for a python script to be executed I
will have 10.000 instances of python (the interpreter) persistent even
after the user has finshed with that script. Now, I wonder how to kill a
python instance once the script has finished its work (by code, or by a
trick)?
