Ah, thought so.  I see that articles in that group are being given two
digit years in the Date: header (e.g., "Wed, 01 Mar 00 18:57:56 GMT").

This date format, old but technically legal, triggers a y2k problem
(yes, such beasts really and truly exist!) in many news servers, and
they are rejecting the articles as too old.

It would be a Very Good Idea for the moderator to change over to four
digit years, because it's not very likely this bug will get fixed on
all those news servers if it hasn't been addressed by now.
