The Tkinter Text-Widget has some pre-defined functionality. For example : If You mark text-areas they will always be marked in line-mode but never in column-mode. How could this be changed? Has anyone experience with altering this? Do I have to write an own editor on a Canvas base to implement such a simple functionality? Regards K.S.
