Python/MySQL Where do "SELECT ..." results go?

Hmmm ... something's wrong. dir(curs) returns
['_Cursor__conn', '_Cursor__open', '_Cursor__res', 'arraysize',
'description', 'insert_id']
and there's nothing like next, prev, etc.

Do I have the correct module?
