Well, yeah. Albeit, I already learned lambda from lisp, ya know. :)

One of the reasons that I like Python is that it is lisp like in
the capabilities it offers, but blissfully child like in its
syntax. While map/reduce/lambda are obviously obscure forms,
as long as we have relatively *few* of these, then I think
everyone will be pretty happy.
