In fact it's very funny; I've mentioned the case-insensitivity bit a couple
of times in the recent months on this newsgroup. I've however always
included the Standard Pythonic Flamewar Suppressor; a reference to evolutionary
biology, Haskell or Aristotelian philosophy. I never thought this
made any difference, until someone *else* responded to the same question
about Py3K in *without* this Flamewar Suppressor. *then* all hell broke
loose. I therefore conclude that use of the Flamewar Suppressor actually
*works*.

Not that this entire discussion was a flamewar, though it got close in
several places (including this one). Mostly it has been moving into
tangential topics, such as old terminals and causality in Latin. Still,
look at what a little disclaimer line can do. :)
