That's true. I'm guilty of these side-tracks myself, though usually
mine are like Ivan's a bit more humorous. I think this ability to
side-track religious wars into discussions of maths is a charming
property of this newsgroup. Here we saw the reverse too (side-track into
religious war), but then eventually our self-defence mechanisms caught
on we and went safely into physics. War is now neutralized. :)
