Even inside of Europe you have glyph differences. For example, TTBOMK,
Turkish writes "s-with-cedilla" and Romanian writes
"s-with-comma-underneath", yet it's the same Unicode character, U+015F.
So you still need language information to pick the correct glyph to
render a string -- even without Han characters.
