Announce:Tix-8.1.0 Widget Set

This is to announce the 8.1.0 release of the Tix widget set.

Tix is a powerful high-level widget set that expands the capabilities
of your Tk/Tcl and Python applications. Using Tix will  greatly
enhance the appearance and functionality of your application.

Changes in this release include:

Major new release with all contributed patches and improvements.

Support for Tcl 8.0 8.1 and 8.2 under Unix and Windows (MSVC).

Support for ITcl 3.0 3.1 and 3.2 under Unix and Windows (MSVC).

Preliminary code for Python 2.0. This is an update of PyTix-1.12.
With a couple of trivial mods to _tkinter.c tkappinit.c and Tkinter.py
support for Tix could be integrated into the core of Python 2.0
with it all automatic because of the -DWITH_TIX Setup define.
(There is still a bug with Comboxes that may be a Tkinter bug showing
up on withdrawn windows, - see the BUG.txtfile for more information.)

Preliminary code for 8.3 under Unix and stubs, but not supported yet.
