Python-based StoryServer??

Is ther such a thing as a Python-based StoryServer or OpenACS rip-off
(besides Zope, of course :-)??

I have to convince the owners that Zope is what we should go with, over
something like OpenACS or something similar...I want to approach this
project from Python's unique perspective on object-oriented implementation,
which you can simulate in other languages (the scripting doesn't have to be
in Python, just the nature of the object management)...so I wasn't sure if
there were other products available that took the OO approach to web app
design/management...

I'm looking into AOLServer/PostgreSQL./OpenACS, or
Zope/PostgreSQL/MySQL...any suggestions would be extremely helpful :-)
