The HTMLgen package (from the Starship, which is *still* down) is a piece of
cake. I recommend it. If you can find it!

For PDF, see Reportlab (from <http://www.reportlab.com>). I haven't used it
myself (yet), but it certainly looks powerful.

If you are thinking about using COM, then you should certainly get hold of
'Python Programming on Win32' (ISBN 1565926218) - something else that I can
recommend.
