Build bug with configure --with-cxx

FYI - I'm trying to build the latest Python 2.0 source on my Linux RedHat 6.2
machine using gcc-2.95.2. When I use the --with-cxx option in my
configure I get an infinite loop during my build on ccpython.cc. I'm not
sure what this option is supposed to get me but leaving it out allows my
build to go through just fine.
