Bypassing the proxy cache

Is it possible to do an urlopen() and _not_ using the cached files that may
reside in the proxy's cache? I want something similar to pressing shift-reload
in the netscape browser; this bypasses the proxy cache and goes directly to the
specified website. Can you do that in Python?

I'm sitting behind a transparent Squid proxy.
