That's easy, ship editline with Python, its BSD, its half the size
of readline and uses the same API.


Given that GNU decided to write their own scripting language (guile),
once again re-inventing the wheel, I don't really care if its GPL
compatable or not.

I'm surprised they haven't re-written X to be GPL...but of course they
need X...Funny how they can live with some products but not others...
