how to find a certain module?

 hello.


i recently installed xchat on my linuxsystem.
it has support for pythonscripts.
it tells me to import the "XChat" module.
i can do that yes, and xchat finds the module
just fine it seems.

but I havent been able to find it...!
tried locate and find variations of that name,
but no luck.

its pyth1.52 on a slack7.1 with xchat1.4.3.

how do i go about finding out where that XChat-module is?
