Paradoxically, python best virtues were the leading people:
- Tim Peters
- Guido 
- Fred Lundzh
- Aa*r* ( there several which same names that  are confusing for me).

Well, apart from simple syntax and so on. 

I imagine that reading Perl makes people feel unhappy and tense.
