How to use well the 'Edit Python Path' tool in PythonWin ?

I am just discovering the 'Edit Python Path' function on 'tools' menu of
PythonWin.
It seems _very nice_, but I am sure I don't quite understand best way to use
it.. are there any docs / readme / examples / tutorials on this?
