It is a "free binary licence". You have to pay for the media ($75 US
dollars for about 10 CDs) and shipping. My credit card says this isn't
free, but it's still a great deal.
alt.solaris.x86 is a good newsgroup to get help for this OS as long as
you have read the FAQ (http://sun.pmbc.com/faq/) first!
