Numpy Won't install??

Um, I got the same thing. I remember just hunting down the option in
setup.py and removing it, but then Numpy just installed to the root
site-packages directory, instead of it's own. Is is supposed to do that?
It works, but it doesn't look elegant when I crawl through my file system
with gmc.
