After browsing through my system's header files I have replaced
#include <netpacket/packet.h>
with
#include <net/if_packet.h>
in socketmodule.c. Now it compiles and seems to work - at least
test_socket succeeds. Is it ok to use if_packet.h instead of packet.h?
