A friend of mine recently came upon a problem, while attempting to freeze a
program, that I have never accounted.
After setting the PYTHONEX environment variable to the correct path, freeze
is run on a simple one-file program. The result is this:
Error: needed directory C:\PYTHON21\lib\python2.1\config not found
Use ''C:\python_src\tools\freeze\freeze.py -h'' for help
I searched the newsgroup archives and the only mention of this problem
suggested adding the -w flag to specify the Windows platform, but this
doesn't seem to help. Any suggestions?
