SIP v2.3 has been released and is available from
http://www.thekompany.com/projects/pykde/.

SIP does a similar job to SWIG but is specifically aimed at generating
Python bindings for C++ class libraries. SIP is used to generated PyQt
(the Python bindings for the Qt GUI toolkit).
