Python licensing issues

Sorry, this is definitely not a programmers question, but: if you want
to include Python embedded in your (Open Source) application, what
kind of licensing irks must you keep in mind? do you have to include
all the copyright notices PythonWin shows in the about box? distribute
READMEs? Point to websites? It would be nice if someone could explain
without resorting to too much legalese. 

And how about distributing python20.dll standalone (provided thats
feasible), so that non-programmers don't have to dl a 8MB
distribution.

And does anybody of you know of major differences to be aware of for
BeOpen-Python 2.0 vs. ActiveState-Python 2.0 installed machines?
