BeOpen 2.0 vs ActiveState?

ActiveState is a products company and we need people to know about our
other products. ActivePython is a service we provide to the community in
exhange for the traffic to our website. It also is not unusual for
someone to pay us for the right to redistribute ActivePerl and we expect
that to someday also be an ActivePython revenue stream. If we couldn't
justify the development and maintenance cost of ActivePython in these
two ways then we couldn't continue to develop it!
